How I can help

Repetitive patterns can be frustrating, and sometimes deeply destructive, especially when you find yourself doing the same things again and again

Often, what we turn to, whether substances or behaviours, is a way of coping with something deeper. While stopping or setting limits can be important, therapy offers a space to explore the underlying emotions and thinking that drive these patterns.

Change is rarely straightforward. The things we rely on can bring comfort, relief, or a sense of control and it’s important to acknowledge that.

In our work together, we can gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface, at your pace, and begin to move towards where you would like to be.

About me

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, holding a postgraduate qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Before establishing my private practice, I worked as a counsellor in colleges and recovery centres. I currently offer counselling to Red Rose Recovery and Kendal College. I also work with Physicians Anonymous, a peer-support network dedicated to doctors experiencing burnout, stress, and related challenges

Background and experience

Alongside my counselling work, I bring a broad professional background shaped by both mental health and education. I previously worked as a mental health worker before going on to teach in the UK and internationally.

Having spent several years living and working in Italy, I understand some of the challenges that can come with living abroad which is something that continues to inform my work with expats and international clients.

I aim to offer a grounded, non-judgemental space that recognises the complexity of each person’s life, history, and circumstances.
